Gatwick: Latest Consultation

Residents are being urged to respond to Gatwick’s latest consultation which updates road designs as part of the airport's expansion plans to bring the Emergency (or Northern) Runway into regular use.

GAL have produced a Consultation Document and Consultation Newsletter which help explain in detail the proposals to introduce two new flyovers to separate local and airport traffic. They can be accessed here and here and are also available to view at Tesco Extra in Hookwood and both Horley Library and Horley Town Hall.

A video is available showing the road improvements envisaged and that can be accessed by clicking here. In addition appointments can be booked with members of the Gatwick project team by going here or by calling 0800 038 3486.

Those wanting to respond and get their views heard can complete an online consultation questionnaire – click here – or by submitting a response in writing to Freepost SEC NEWGATE UK LOCAL. Alternatively email feedback@gatwickfutureplans.com.

The consultation closes at midnight on 27th July
