Annual Parish Meeting

The Annual Parish Meeting provides the opportunity for residents to meet representatives from the different groups and organisations in the parish and to ask questions about their work and activities over the past 12 months and also about their future plans.

The informal event, hosted by the Parish Council, was held in the Pavilion, Charlwood, on 24th May and it was encouraging to see new and old residents attending.

A brief introduction by Parish Council chair Penny Shoubridge preceded a lively Q&A session which covered, among other items, concern over Gatwick night noise, Parish Council finances, and the provision of kissing gates on footpaths to make it easier for elderly walkers.

Many organisations supplied annual reports and these were available to be read on the night. They are attached below for the benefit of those who were not able to attend.
