GDPR & Associated Docs

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force on 25th May 2018. It is an important and complex piece of legislation that places particular responsibilities on Charlwood Parish Council as a public authority.

CPC has set out its policies in relation to GDPR in a number of documents found within these pages.

For a detailed explanation of personal data, the data CPC holds on individuals and the rights and responsibilities it has in relation to that data click here.

It maybe that in the future CPC will look to establish an email group to transmit information to those who have requested being part of the group. In that event, individuals will be sent the following notice.

You can find out if we hold any personal information on you by making a ‘subject access request’ under the General Data Protection Regulations. For more information click here.
