NOTICE OF VACANCY IN THE OFFICE OF COUNCILLOR CHARLWOOD PARISH COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 a casual vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the said Parish, Following the resignation of Cllr Richard Parker.

A by-election to fill the vacancy will be held if, within 14 days (not counting a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday) from the date below, a written notice of an election is given to the Returning Officer, by TEN local government electors of the parish. The address of the Returning Officer is:

If no such notice is given, the Parish Council will fill the vacancy by co-option.
